The last week ive been feeling like something is trying to pull me down the slippery slope and if i dont get a grip which i m gona make sure i do im gona be-- in the same place i was before much more over weight and kinda down on myself! I spent some time thinking and praying on this and the strength just came over me!! and theres no way im going down that track again and i will do it for my self and with your help! i felt like i was giving ing in slowly! So now i got Ice picks and i pulled my self up the slope and im back on solid ground! theres no way in HELL im gona let the healthier ME fall off the edge NO WAY ! I Survived and im up and going! Wow! I can't imagine you being down. We're new friends, but you always seem so perky. It could be what you're eating or not eating. It could be the weather. I feel different with climate changes (cold & dreary- hot & humid). You just need to visit with your Spark Friends (like this blog) and see that everyone "has your back". You'll look out and see the deer doing something cute and feel better. Nancy
It could be caused by how you are eating actually. Are you eating mostly produce and in the raw state? This will dramatically help you stay strong. Eating/drinking dark leafy greens are a tremendous boost to our body and mind. Green smoothies or green juices are packed full of nutrient dense goodness that gives us that upper hand against phakephood temptation.
It isn't just a personal struggle, it is having solid nutrition first and foremost. Then the struggles will be a thing of the past.
You have had a lot going on including your class. Don't forget to put you first so you can give out. Sometimes when I feel like what you described I think it helps to go back to our small goals from Fast Break and recapture one of those and build on success. Monday I'm going to do that again because my husband bought me a birthday cake and someone ate way toooo much of it..today. Now it is gone and tomorrow is a new day. We can do it !!
