Yesterday was the official 200th Day Under 200 Pounds...I set that as the day I quit counting the number of days because it was the same number as the number of pounds.
I rewarded myself by buying two pair of size 14P Levis. Since my friend and I started losing weight and she was losing faster than I was I inherited her old size Levis. That was cool because it made me go down in size and get rid of my old size to Goodwill...as soon as I could zip up the lower size I would put my old ones into a bag and take them to Goodwill, not just toss them aside "in case I need to go back". That way there was no going back for either of us. The only problem with this system was that Sharee has longer legs than I do and likes her pants long too so they were way too long for me. Sometimes she would hem them and sometimes I would just cut them off.
This last time she only had one pair of size 14s to hand down and I didn't want to make her hem them so I was rolling them under and then got tired of the bulk so I got the scissors out and chopped them off. Since I had one pair I had to time things like yard work and doctor's appointments so that I had clean clothes to wear to the appointments...such a hassle. So I decided to reward myself with two pair of size 14P which fit my short legs better...now I am ready for all the upcoming events in my life.
Next week at work we have Rodeo Days and can wear blue or black Levis but they have to be like new...I bought one pair of each color!!! On the 13th of March I have a doctor's appointment so I have the old cut off ones for doing chores and either pair of new ones that will probably both be clean. In April is the 27th annual Laughlin River Run - or Harley week as we used to call it...70,000 plus or minus motorcycles in town. We get to wear Levis and River Run T-shirts all week...I have my Levis ready!!!
Yesterday was also my 21st day Under 190...I rewarded myself with a little "lady of the house" tool kit. As a house owner I have lots of tools and have put lots of things into a little tool box...problem is people borrow the tools and leave them somewhere where I have to try to find them when I want them. So I decided I deserved a new little kit with all the right tools...now I can find what I want when I want it and do all the little chores I keep putting off!!! LOL
I hope everyone else is having a good time celebrating their losses!!!!
