April 28th one of my close friends is getting married. We've been friends for 18 years, and I am a bridesmaid in her wedding. I ordered my dress a size down. I got it in yesterday and tried it on. I have a few inches to lose across my midsection/back/chest area to make it fit but I know it's totally possible. I have 9 weeks to get my butt in gear and make a difference in my body.
My plan is this:
*Stay within 1200-1400 calorie range
*Drink only water, unsweet tea, and milk
*Lean meats, fruits and veggies. Nothing fried.
*Keep away from processed foods and sugars as much as possible.
*Wednesday-Cardio or DVD
*Saturday-Cardio or DVD
*Sunday-Cardio or DVD
I have access to a lot of DVDs in my collection and also through Netflix streaming. I have an exercise bike, but I never use it because it makes my rear hurt. Any suggestions there? Also, I would like to start running again, and I know I'll have to start with walk/jog.
I tried out a local bootcamp class last week and absolutely loved it! It's three days a week outdoors. Monday is arms, Tuesday is legs, and Thursday is full body. It is KILLER! I loved it, and I felt so proud of myself for accomplishing it. The trainers are great about motivating you and pushing you. If they see you're easily busting out 20 jump squats they up it to 25. If you're struggling with an exercise they'll modify it for you, like stepping out on the burpees instead of jumping back. I really like the personal attention and routine. I start that program tomorrow.
Pictures from Tumblr and on Pinterest really help me to get motivated, and that dress hanging in my closet is DEFINITE motivation. I must fit in that dress for the wedding, no options!
