It feels good!

Sunday, February 26, 2012

I always feel so much better when I stay on track with good eating and exercise and wonder why I let myself get off track after doing well, especially after hitting a goal. emoticon I was pretty disciplined in January but yesterday was the first Saturday in February that I did not overeat and I am so happy about that. Something seems to have kicked in again. emoticon

Why am I so cyclical about exercise? emoticon I know that when I don't get it in I am most likely going to stress eat! Sunday is my other challenging day but I think I will be okay today since I was smart enough to make time for exercise before breakfast. emoticon I have noticed that my exercise layoffs are fewer and farther between now so I guess that's progress! And to be fair, some of my layoffs have been from non exercise related injury or illness. emoticon

What keeps you steady on with your exercise? Have you always been steady or did it come through picking yourself up over and over again? emoticon

Exercise is my strong suit. Food tracking? Um....

But as for exercise I think I make NOT exercising so stressful by beating myself up that any reluctance I have to taking care of business with my workout is usually pretty easily blown through...lol!

It also helps when I work in exercise that pulls me outdoors. Being outside is a natural fixer-upper for whatever may be stressing me.

Really, I just feel better when I exercise. More energy. It's not something I struggle with much.

Which is funny, considering yrs ago I was such a couch potato.
