I definitely am not a cold weather person! Give me sunshine, heat, humidity and all the other things that come with summer. Just last week, I wore shorts to work 3 out of 4 days! It felt like spring was here. Yesterday I was wearing a flannel shirt, jeans, boots, gloves.........well, you get the picture. Winter was back with a vengeance, temps in the 20's, high winds, and snow :(

Give me picnics, motorcycle rides, swimming, fireworks and burgers on the grill. No icy windows to scrape, sidewalks to shovel, cars that need warming up. How about just sitting on the porch, chatting with neighbors, weeding the garden? Not rushing from the car to the house and back without seeing or speaking to a soul!

Summer is so much more relaxed; shorts, tee shirts and flip flops. Winter is so structured! You need to keep every body part covered for fear of freezing to death!

I know we haven't really had a bad winter here in Ohio, but it's still winter and I hate it! Spring is also just a bit crazy here too. We've had two blizzards in March that were just amazing in the amount of snow that fell. The only good thing is that the temps are on their way up and any snow we have in March really doesn't last.

Well, I have to look at the bright side. Spring will be here in 23 days and summer isn't far behind :)
