FORGIVENESS: Let Go and Let God

Saturday, February 25, 2012

Good Morning: With the situation with my daughter, I forgive by letting go and letting God. With this comes a commitment from me to keep to my plan, do not get side tracked by family matters. This is usually what I do in the past, I get so involved in family that I lose myself and my program.
I got on the scale today and lost another 2 pounds. I have been eating nutritionally, portion control and exercise. emoticon emoticon
Similarly, to be happy and peaceful, I must sweep away any unforgiveness that clutters my heart and mind. What I hold in my heart creates the emotional space I live in and share with others. Any unforgiveness I hold toward another creates resentment in me and leaves me bound to past experiences.
Instead, I choose to be free through forgiveness. If memories of old hurts arise, I give them all to God. I feel God's unconditional love dissolving my pain. Forgiveness given is forgiveness received. As I give it all to God, divine love sets me free.
emoticon emoticon emoticonHave a good day!!! You are important to yourself!! Get up and move today!!

What a blessing NJJ. I think all of us has suffered under the snare of unforgiveness. Unforgiveness can cause to a lot of distressing negative injuries to our spirit. Dark clouds of resentment, anger, stress, sleepless nights, and torment of the mind. I went through a lot of years of troubles with my son. It nearly drove me up the wall. It was taking it's toll on me physically, mentally, and spiritually. Finally, I come to myself and realized I needed to turn him over to the LORD and leave it there at HIS feet. Peace comes with giving it to the LORD. The devil will do everything he can to snare us again. Ephesians 6: 10- 18 is God's instructions to stand against theses snares and fiery darts. Remember the devil and his demons are behind every negative and wrong thing.
Psalm 124: 6-8 Blessed be the LORD, WHO hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Those feelings of un-forgiveness only hurt us! I learned that lesson the hard way. I am so glad for you and your discernment in this area. Keep leaning on Him and learning from Him. too!
