Okay, so I fell off the exercise wheel again but I'm back and using this site mainly for caloric intake estimations. I'm on my 5th week of P90X with Tony Horton. My brother is working out with me which is apparently what I've needed to keep going this whole time...a workout buddy. I hate the scale so I haven't stepped on it in some time but I'm tracking progress in other ways--how my clothing fits, how much more I can do in each respective workout. I realized that, for me, I'm not as concerned about losing the weight as I am about feeling healthy. So screw the scale as long as I'm BRINGING IT!
The difficulty I'm having is knowing how many calories I'm burning. I know that I'm working at peak heartrate (I don't have a monitor but anyone can calculate HR without one by counting your pulse for 15 seconds and multiplying by 4) which is between 160 and 180 BPM. Looking it up online, it says I'm burning around 1000 calories at that heart rate which is AWESOME! Honestly, though, I just want to be healthy, have energy, and live life to the full!
My verse today: The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but I have come that you might have life and have it to the full!
