TODAY IS ANOTHER DAY

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

I AM TRYING TO ENCOURAGE MYSELF TO GET ON MY TREADMILL FOR 45 MINUTES. I DIDN'T DO IT YESTERDAY--AND THAT MADE ME FEEL DEFEATED. I HAVE 32 POUNDS TO LOSE--I AM FIVE FEET TALL. I KNOW EACH DAY I EXERCISE THE CLOSER I WILL GET TO MY GOAL WEIGHT. I HAVE EATEN TOO MUCH FOR BREAKFAST AND I MADE OUT MY FOOD DIARY FOR THE DAY AND I'M GOING TO NEED REAL PERSISTENCE TO KEEP TO ONLY THE FOODS I'VE WRITTEN DOWN. I AM GIVING MYSELF THE TIME DEADLINE OF 8:15 A.M. TO GET ON MY TREADMILL. IS ANYONE ELSE FIGHTING THE FOOD DIARY AND THE EXERCISE ROUTINE WHO WOULD HAVE WORDS OF WISDOM FOR ME. emoticon

Heidie, I understand how you feel. I am having great difficulty getting myself to do anything in the way of getting fit. I am however dealing with the situation by concentrating on keeping my Food Tracker religiously and earning as many Sparkpoints every day, reading as many articles as possible and in general getting myself 'psyched-up' to deal with my avoidance behaviour relating to my fitness regime. One goal at a time, and with my Food Diary firmly established (one month)I'll be ready to deal with the fitness goal(I hope!!) Will keep you advised.
Good luck to you and would appreciate any helpful info you discover.
