The Tuesday that feels like a Monday

Crossfit: I missed most of the warm up, so I puttered with my deadlift weights and secured my pull up spot.

wod:
3 rounds for time
20 deadlifts (125lbs)
30 pullups (jumping!)
40 pushups
50 squats
time: 28:29

5K clinic:
I wanted to do a pace run with my clinic group. There's a lady in my group who is a really fast runner so I let her stay with the faster crowd as I stayed with the straggler.. so my pace run wasn't as much.. which was funny because I jokingly said I wished everyone wanted to pace a really slow 5K after my wod tonight.. but I had an hour to recover and was fine! I rock.

food:
egg cupcakes x 2 (they be small ones, I swear!) and salsa sauce (mild, I am a wimp)
snack #1: 6 walnut halves
lunch: giant salad with baby spinach, arugula, tuna and avocado.. YUM!
snack# 2: 6 walnut halves (I need more snacks at work!) and half a cucumber
pre-workout: choco-coconut larabar
dinner: steak and a salad with lots of cabbage... I guess that would be coleslaw

hrm.. odd! I had no fruit.. but then again, I usually have them for snacks.. see! I need more snacks at work.. I usually have an apple and almond butter in the morning.

Great day.. GREAT workout! It's awesome to do it, say you did it and be perfectly fine when you're done. RAWR! Hehehehe

    Great WOD - sometimes I think jumping pullups are harder than kipping pullups - for some reason they make me super dizzy from all of the head jostling. You are such a trooper for leading your 5K group afterwards too!

I was eating Larabars for a while and then the day after the super bowl I had a stomach bug (not a hangover...I'm a special ed. teacher and one of the students I work very closely with - we share a lot of germs - was also home with a stomach bug on this day) and I ate a carrot cake larabar and threw it up...TMI?! now I can't even look at the wrapper of them which sucks because they really are one of the only 'whole food' bars out there :(
