I did day 1 and I'm feeling pretty good. It's so intense but I knew that going into it. Hopefully that will help me stick it out this time. I have a few changes in my game plan this time.
1: I plan to count down instead of counting up. So instead of putting on my calendar Day 1, I say 62 days left, I think counting down might help me to see how close I get to my goal. Its hard to explain but to me by starting out at 63 it made me more determined to finish.
2: I know this is going to be hard. I tried it before and quit because it was hard. My mistake was thinking I needed to keep up with the instructors. Of course I can't keep up with the instructors, they do this kind of thing 7 days a week for like 16 hours a day. Instead I will go at my own pace and try my hardest to beat my previous score on the fit tests every 2 weeks.
3: I am taking this one day at a time. Yes, I'm determined to finish the entire 60 day program this time around but I'm looking at it in a week to week basis. 6 days of Insanity and 1 day of rest isn't really that long. My first goal is to finish this week. On Sunday I will treat myself to something, not sure what yet.
So for week 1 here is my Fit Test results:
Switch Kicks: 45 (unsure if each leg counts as 1 or if 2 kicks count as 1)
Jump Squats: 33
Power Knees: 61
Power Jumps: 40
Globe Jumps: 5
Suicide Jumps: 6
Push Up Jacks: 16
Low Planks: 23
