I am now learning how important food and sleep link arms with stress. I want my blog to not only be a place to share, comfort and inspire but to be tasty! Letting go of foods that no longer fit into my life style at times can be frustrating. I am beginning to realize I have a strange bond to some of the foods , or tell myself "I can't stop eating that because what would my friend so and so say ?" Now why in the hell should I be embarrassed to want to be healthy?" Awe, (I thought out loud)this is what I should blog about! There after my son said " wow mom, I love what your eating now, it's delicious...you should call it the "yum diary" ! I liked it and now everyday I will write about something yummy to me and share it with anyone who chooses to indulge!
Today the yum factor of the day was a trident salmon burger with lemon juice and a small russet potato with a sprinkle mexi-cheese...my experience these first 4 days is when eating a larger meal at lunch can be quite beneficial for maintaining optimal energy for the rest of a busy day ( and if you eat extra carbs at that meal you have time to work off more calories then after dinner ( at least for me,after dinner is usually bed time) yeah to my first blog!
