Virtual Me

Monday, February 20, 2012

I googled 'virtual model with measurements' and came across a great website. It's not like the simple ones that only use basic info like height, weight, and body shape. You enter your own measurements to create a virtual model. You can't personalize the hairstyle and color, skin color, or choose clothes like you can on some others. The measurements are entered in centimeters so you have to use the the metric side of the measuring tape, and it takes some time to do all of the measurements but the results are much more accurate. Here's what my virtual me looks like. The body shape is much more realistic than the simpler types of virtual models I've seen.

Is this really me, toothpick legs holding up a big bubble butt. No wonder my ankles get sore after walking awhile. They have to hold up too much of me. That's why I'm here on Spark People. I have to do something about it. I'll have to revisit that site about every 10 pounds or so as my measurements get smaller.

Here's the website;
Try it, it's kinda fun to play with.

    If the link doesn't work go to Look on the far left and scroll down until you see 3D Virtual Model and click on that.

    Thanks for the idea, I'm going to check it out. I've been trying to visualize what I might look like at my goal weight. This should help. I've found a website: that has pictures of real women at different heights and weights that might interest you as well.

Thank you!
