After resting my back for last 10 days I walked 2 miles outdoors in 25 degree temps today. It felt pretty good and I am icing my back as I write this blog. I know I put on some weight for the first time in 13 months but I hope to be back to even by the end of the month. I hope to increase my distance by .25 mile every day until I am back to my 4 mile/ day routine. Then I will work to get my time down to pre-injury performance (68 min). If all goes well I hope to accomplish that within next 30 days but I will adjust based on how my back holds up.
At my age, the body doesn't bounce back so fast!....lol
