Had a little "whoosh" reading on the scale this am. Thank goodness! Yeah, I'm eating to get healthy and yada yada yada, but it's really great to see a little positive feedback on the scale, too.
Gotta get going. The foster-pups need their bedtime walk. It's amazing how I'll do for them what I've never consistently done for myself. They need walks. It's part of their healing (and no, that's not a spacy new age theory, it really helps them) so we go for walks. At least two a day. Generally at least a mile. For some of you, a mile is nothing, but I was in pretty lousy shape a few months ago, and a brisk walk around the block was really painful. A couple of brisk miles a day is HUGE for me.
Life isn't always peachy, but it's certainly getting better.
