Determined in setting my course

Sunday, February 19, 2012

I got up early today, determined to practice spiritual warfare, call those things to be as if they were, not to have a pity party on my first workday of the week. I am determined to go into work tonight with a different mindset, to do my very best and keep my head up high. I finally tackled some projects here in the apartment that I have been putting off for so long. Finally got that curtain hung up in my bedroom, should help me out since I am a day sleeper emoticon Made that crock pot meal yesterday, it turned out okay. I will freeze some for later and continue to look for fresh and healtny meal ideas to break the cycle of me just eating chicken emoticon all the time.

I cleared my only coffee table ottoman, empty some boxes, put up a few more decorations and got 70% done with Turbo Tax emoticon That is a big accomplishment, seeing how it wasn't on my radar for this weekend, but it is on my goal sheet for February 2012. No time to mope around, watching Whitney's funeral on TV, although I did see highlights and felt a very nice tribute was made to her. LIke Pastor Marvin Winans's said it so well, "salvation is free, but isn't easy". I do not take my salvation lightly . I am so grateful to be a child of the King and I always strive to do the right thing in life. I miss the mark, I blow it, I stumble and I fall, but through God's grace and mercy, I get back up again and keep going. I refuse to give in to satan's tactics and I will always give God the glory, the honor and the praise, In Jesus' name, Amen emoticon
