Gettin' my groove back!

It's been ages since my last blog and I really need to get into the habit again. I really think it helps me work out issues that just roll around in my head!
The past 2 weeks have been somewhat horrific! First, my 5 year old boy got sick with a chest cold and I wound up staying at home with him for 3 days. Then the following week (Feb 6th) I starting not feeling so well. I caught his chest cold and stayed home from work for ANOTHER 3 days. The biggest problem for me and my son is that we both have asthma, so it took both of us forever to get over it. I got over it by last Sunday, but I still have this annoying cough that won't go away. So today I finally went to the doctor and he prescribed a nasal spray since my cough is due to drainage. UGH! And my poor husband also caught the cold, but he was over it pretty quickly. It's been a real pain getting caught up again at work too, but I'm finally there.
During my "time off" I didn't eat so well. I didn't track, so I don't even know how bad I was. All I know is that I ate a lot of comfort food for two weeks! Surprisingly enough I've only gained 1 pound, but tomorrow is my "official" weight-in day, so we'll see. Today was the first day I actually did some exercise. Just starting out with some ST. I need to get my muscles back up to where they were before.
I'm hoping that by this weekend I can start doing some cardio again with launching into coughing fit !
