So, I have been off the map for a little while now. Mid January began my crazy few months with my sister in law's wedding in Philadelphia. It was AWESOME, however, I have had some battles to go along with that. I was the victim of identity fraud that weekend and have spent umpteen hours on the phone with banks, credit services, federal government...not a good experience. I then got very sick and in the last two weeks have started to feel better and stronger.
All of this happening within a month of my first 1/2 marathon which now is miraculously TEN days away... Boy is the countdown on!!!
I am so excited and do wish that my weeks leading up to it were calm and steady, but in my life I should have known better.
I have still been doing what I could for training without getting physically sick and feel completely ready. Most of all, I can't believe this day is almost finally here! It feels like yesterday when I registered and would say "Oh, a hundred and something days to go" now it's almost in single digits!!!
