Goals: you need them.
It's nice to think that you can just decide good things to do for yourself every day, but that isn't always the case. For me it's all about setting and attaining goals. I stopped goal setting and as a result I started gaining weight and skipping workouts. That kind of behavior won't help me get stronger and healthier. It will make me slower, fatter, and more unhappy with myself.
So it's time to get back to goal setting. This week my goal is to get my lazy behind to 6 Jazzercise classes. I went today so I just need 5 more to reach my goal. When I get there I will give myself a pat on the back and set my goal for next week.
Goals keep me pushing forward and forward is the only way I want to go!
