late Saturday afternoon the wind roared in and dumped hail down on us. I was out covering the patio shrubs with their blankets and kept an eye on the sky for a funnel.

Then the snow began to blow in and swirel around; the grass and sidewalks were quickly covered.

The storm is still passing over us this moring it is 24 and a lot less windy but still snow. there are little drifts everywhere I will be out there soon with the broom,

I will peek under the blankets on the shrubs to see how they are doing

    I have been high enough in the Rocky Mountains to be above the clouds and you are right it is really pretty to see above the storm

    Just think, if you were in a jet plane above all those stormy clouds....there would be sunshine.
