(My thoughts for the day)

Losing weight really does require a lifestyle change.
Many people have told me that over the years, but I'm really starting to "get it".
I mean...Im reeeeeeeally starting to get it.
If I want results, I really have to focus......and when I focus, I must focus on one pound at a time, not 10 or 20 pounds at a time, like I used to.

Overall, I am now comfortable with this lifestyle change of eating healthier foods (lots of fruits and vegetables and less cheeseburgers and french fries) and I am enjoying exercising 3 times a week.

My goal for February is to lose 4 pounds. I lost one pound this week and now I have 3 more to go.

    You do need to focus on what you want to accomplish. But in order to loose weight and keep it off; I believe weight loss should be slow and consistent. The life style changes we make need to permanent, because we want the results to be permanent.

    Yep, you're on to it. Something I tell myself is that, for weight loss to be permanent, the lifestyle change must be permanent, too. Kudos to you!

    Once you come to the realization it is a life change to be healthy - not necessarily just to lose weight that is when it becomes easier.

Slow and steady is the best way to lose any weight. When you change your eating habits you will also maintain any weight you lose.
