Well my first Physical Theraphy starts this coming monday. For the time being I am determinted to start working my upper body again with weights to keep the muscles lean and toned. I plan on not doing any exercise DVD's for at least about roughly 2 months to make sure my knee is healed fully. It likes to still dislocate sideways and then pop back in which will keep the bruise from healing up so I have to be very careful.

    Perhaps you would want to work with the physical therapist. He/she may think of things you can do and do gently as you are rehabbing your knee.

    Physical therapy is a wonderful thing! If you do what you are told you will get better. I went for a foot problem and an IT band injury and was able to run a marathon after both with NO problems. Whatever you do don't push it, the therapist will tell you when you are ready.

    Do exactly what the physical therapist says! I was not a "good patient" and still have knee problems - years later.
Could you do any seated exercises? There are lots of videos around.
