This week I've been training. I've been training to become something new, a police officer. Only a volunteer police officer but once I have completed the training successfully (and I will) I will have the same powers as a paid police officer.
It's been hard. Our training lasts 23 days. A regular police officer trains for 18 weeks! And we have to learn most of the same stuff.
Anyway, enough of that. I have done 1 lot of training in the last 3 weeks. It's not good but my last weigh in was 205.5lbs. I'm fairly happy with this seeing that I pretty much haven't done any REAL training since my last 10k in mid January.
I have another on 17th March so I'm going to start training again. It is 4.3 miles from where I am training to where I live so I'm intending on running home a couple of times this week.
My next 10k will be my fastest. I'm sure of this mostly because I will be running with friends. And one of my friends in particular is VERY good at pushing me hard.
