One week down - here's how it's going:
What I HAVE done:
1. I have tracked most days... I started out strong - tracking every day Saturday - Wednesday. Then life got crazy and I dropped it on Thursday and Friday. BUT - I was eating pretty much the exact same things on those days so I know I was within my limits.
2. I have exercised - some. Saturday, Sunday, Monday and again today (Saturday). During the week is just SO hard. But this is better than before and I'll get better as I go.
3. Meal Plans - clean and shopped for - yes!
4. Check List - yep! Done and checked off daily.
What I HAVEN'T done, yet:
1. Goal Poster - not yet.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
As a family we've made some commitments too... exercise together (was a BLAST doing circuits with my kids this morning :-) & dessert-type foods only 1 time a week (we're having gluten-free, dairy-free pumpkin pie for our dessert - made from pumpkin from our garden. Yum! My husband (the consumate sweet tooth) even agreed - which is HUGE!
So - now we're off to organize the basement, have a healthy lunch and start working on pumpkin pie :-)
So far, so good.
Oh - and I lost 2.5 pounds this week too!
