WOW What a Week!! Soo glad it is behind me!!!

Saturday, February 11, 2012

This past week was such a stressful week for me. My 29 year old daughter was scheduled for some minor oral surgery. She is fine, but the procedure encountered some complications so she has been staying with me all week. The reason she has been staying with me is she is not well enough to care for her 4-year old. So I have been getting her up in the mornings, bathing her, feeding her, dressing her and getting her off to school.

When my children were young I did this every morning and did not remember it being quite the event it has been this past week. I loved having her back home, and had fun taking care of my grand-daughter but I am really really tired!!!

Rest up you never know when you will be called back into Grandma action. But enjoy every minute as they are always too short. emoticon

Tiring, yes, but totally worth it. Wishing you a wonderful, joy filled day!

I know what you are going through, I look after my Grandson who lives with us permanently along with his father, I don't get much of a break from it, but I would rather him here being loved and being educated, than who knows where doing who knows what with his mother!!! emoticon

Many years have gone by since you had to do that. You have more energy when you're younger
