UPDATE on my Concerns

Hi All
I was able to get an appointment with my Doctor this afternoon. After he questioned me and did some rotating of my leg, he advised that I may have pulled a muscle.
After thinking about my recent volunteer activities at the Church, I think I know how I did this to myself. I really put a stretch in this area and if I wasn’t in so much pain, I would kick myself.

My problem with getting older is that I keep forgetting that I’m not as limber as I used to be.

My Doctor gave me a prescription for the pain and as a precaution I will be
getting an X-Ray done too.

    Hi Barbara! I had to smile at your story! I'm 66 and I'm mindful of some limitations, but like you, I still push for more movement. My hero is Jack LaLanne. But he stayed in shape for 95 years by working out DAILY. Yikes, I have some big shoes to follow!

    Rest as long as you need to. You'll be glad you did.

    Hi Barbara, I'm Barbara too. Prayers for a speedy recovery. I just finished physical therapy on my knee & still have to be very careful. I'm 64 & still have a hard time convincing myself that I just can't do everything I use to & they call these the "golden years". Good luck to you. emoticon emoticon
