Actually I have stayed on track food wise, I just didn't work out for 3 days and can you believe it? I actually felt bad, guilty and anxious to get back on the ol' treadmill!!! WOW That has never happened before.
This is just one more affirmation that I'm changing the way I think and that this is a lifestyle and not a temporary or quick fix. So what I skipped a few days? That just means I have to get back to it and try to remain focused.
There are always going to be things that come up, days you don't feel well, maybe an injury or two along the way, a scheduling conflict - the key is to not give up and forget about all of the progress you have made. A couple days away from the gym or eating something you really shouldn't have doesn't need to be the end of the world.
Make a commitment to be your BEST self, to be as healthy as you can be and to make YOU a priority, even in this hectic crazy world, and remind yourself YOU DESERVE this. You deserve to feel good about yourself, you deserve those compliments you are getting and you deserve a day off once in awhile.
I missed a few days but I'm good. I didn't beat myself up and that in and of itself is an accomplishment for me. I'm getting ready to walk on my treadmill and commence sweating!!!!!
