Run baby run

Wednesday, February 08, 2012

I am ready to start running again after waiting for an improvement in my iron levels which were leaving too tired to do anything but walk. I love how I feel when I run-euphoric, I love the kiss of the wind, I love the sound of my shoes hitting the asphalt, here I go again! I am a runner!!!!!

With all the different activities I've done over the years, I still shun running. I'm almost at a point where I could run for my daily cardio sessions, but running just doesn't speak to me. Sometimes walking (or walking workout videos) speaks volumes to me, but not often. So I'm doing bootcamps, which I've come to really enjoy. Sometimes, though, I dream about running. Not running away, not running from or towards someone, but just running for the sheer joy of it. And that leaves me wondering if I'm a runner at heart, too.

Enjoy the cooler temps for your runs, they won't be around for long. :-D

I started spark (tracking my food and my runs) because my doctor told me that my iron was low... I know the feeling! I just start running again after an injury. I love running, the feeling of accomplishment, the peace of mind (it feels quiet) and I just want to go (pace yourself! I know you know..!)
Keep posting, I like reading my SPFriends updates - it makes me feel like I am not alone trying to keep an healthy lifestyle! emoticon
