A little under the weather, and ramblings...

I've been feeling like I have a cold coming on, or maybe just allergies for a couple of days...the mold and pollen counts have been pretty I have had to take some meds to help me function...they make me sleepy and agitated at the same time!

I didn't really feel like working out yesterday, but I did it anyway, yay for me! I went on a long walk this morning with my dog...I'll probably get some more exercise in later. But, I'm listening to my body, if I'm still not feeling well, I may just take it easy, some light yoga...

I've made a couple of healthy meals...tilapia fish tacos with a yummy cabbage slaw (Cooking Light's recipe). The Spark cookbook's pizza crust came out pretty good too...I think anyone who likes white crust pizza would find it a nice healthier alternative. I like a whole grain crust though. I might substitute whole wheat flour for the white flour next time. I'm thinking about looking for a new recipe for lean center cut pork chops tonight...I buy them sliced thin, and they come out nice and tender and in small portions.

I've given in to my cookie cravings, and tracked them...bleck!!! But, I haven't gone way over calories...haven't really stayed within my range though...

My mood is good though. I finished Chapter 8 in The Spark, started the action steps. I want to keep the "Big Picture" in mind. I've noticed so many SP are doing really well with their fitness goals lately! Awesome work friends!!!

    I love this blog ~ it's so real! Maybe you could work your cookies into your food plan since you enjoy them so much ~ then you could eat them guilt free. It's fine to have a few in moderation. Nice job on working out when you didn't feel like it. Hope you feel better. You are smart to listen to your body. Hope it's a good day!

    i've found sometimes when i feel something coming on, that vigorous activity will ward it off, whereas succumbing to it will put me down for a week. go get 'em! eat the bees, not the honey!
