I thought about it for a while and finally decided to take the plunge and start a sparkteam, for those of us living with Fructose Malabsorption and following a Low FODMAP Diet.
FODMAP refers to certain short-chain carbohydrates that can be problematic for some of us to digest. I discovered this plan last October, quite by accident, and it was a huge breakthrough for me. I've dealt with "IBS" and bad gut issues for 12 years, and I finally found an explanation for it and a way to control it!
The diet is pretty restrictive, however when you go from being ill to being healthy, it's much easier to cope with the restrictions. I'm still learning new ways to cook by focusing on the allowed foods, instead of mourning the loss of those I now know I can't eat.
Anyway, I hope the new Sparkteam will be a good source of support and information for others that are dealing with Fructose Malabsorption.
Wish me Luck & Join me if you can.
