MRI results

Monday, February 06, 2012

They were waiting for me in the fax when I got in to work this morning.
No meniscus tear, no cartilage tear, a little bit of fluid in the patella area and a small cyst. Seems to me it all points to ITBS and Patellar tendinopathy but that is just my very uneducated reasoning. On Sunday I will get the low down from my knee specialist.

I am just so relieved that there is no tear, which means no surgery! We'll see what kind of PT I can get referred to through my medical plan, but I may need to go privately if I really want to see someone good and experienced in sports PT.

Have a good day!
