Today is day 8 of bootcamp for me. I am doing well.
I have added Preventions Drop it in 30 video to my workouts.
On days I do not have 50 - 60 minutes to work out, I do walk on the treadmill for atleast 20 mins.
Last week I worked out 4 days for about 60 minutes.
Day 7 was the hardest for me - I had to drag and limp my way through a mile on the treadmill.
It was not pretty. Today my ankle is doing OK.
I am still focusing on what I can do. I can walk a mile most days, I can do most of the videos. I am going to switch out day one video it is the most challenging for my ankle.
Onward and forward. I am tracking my nutrition consistently.
I am staying within my goals.
I am hopeful tomorrow (weigh in day) that I am down a pound or two... my clothes are fitting differently. woohoo! I have clothes one size smaller waiting for me... most of them are brand new... so I am working hard!
I am making changes in my exercise routine so I am hopeful!
I am pretty good about my diet... I am still tweeking things there too.
For example: When I went to mom and dads this week - I did not stop for burgers (Mc Dee's small hamburgers.. once in a while I will treat dad and mom gets nuggets) I stopped and bought fresh iceberg salad and a few green apples for lunch. It was a healthy lunch.
I do not eat salad dressings or dressings of any kind due to my kidneys. I tend to add a little cheese to my salad for protein, but dad cannot have cheese, so we also let that go.
We had a very nice healthy lunch.
My Sparking lifestyle is making a difference in others, too.
I will continue to work out and do what I can.
