I am SO glad that my decision this year was to "keep going no matter what".
If I hadn't done that, I'd have probably quit the first time I had a week with a 0 loss.
Instead, I've made it through TWO weeks of zero loss; my exercise streak is intact after a whopping (for me) 36 days; and I'm now down 11 pounds!
In addition to 11 less pounds under my belt :-), I also have my first

for fitness minutes in a month, a consistency award, a popular blog post (

), and I'm up from Level 1 resistance on my new recumbent bike to Level 6.
All in just 5 weeks! That's crazy. It might not seem like a lot to some, but if you could have seen me try to get up off a couch and walk across the room, with my decrepit, locked-up knees and atrociously bad eating habits, just 5 weeks ago ... you'd know it's real progress.
And if I can do it, so can you. Like SparkGuy says, pick one small thing and focus on doing it consistently. Then watch and see what happens.
