So Heather an I have come to a screeching halt. We have been doing our circuit in the morning and more exercises in the afternoon and thinking that we will loose a good amount of weight. But when we get on the scale we either maintain or loose .2lbs. Today I gained .2lbs. It is a little discouraging but I am trying to think positive. We are building muscle so our weight might not be going down but are clothes are fitting looser :)

Yesterday I added jumping jacks, side bends with a weight and shoulder shrugs..front, back & sides to my circuit. Everything was great but when I did the jumping jacks I felt like I was going to pass out.

Today I didn't do the jumping jacks and side to side crunches. I added the superman, seated trunk twists, mule kicks, and 15 count plank.

This is my 4th day I have done my circuit. I have decided I am going to take Sunday's off of doing the circuit but will do some form of cardio instead....WATP with Leslie or if it is nice out going on a walk.

It has been a struggle to finish the 3 sets. My inner voice keeps whining at me to quit but I don't and wow do I feel so much better when I complete all 3 sets.

Not only are you building muscle, but with any new workout routine it's not uncommon for a bit of weight gain. Your muscles are being challenged in new and uncomfortable ways so they will naturally hold on to water and nutrients until they adjust to the demands you're placing on them. If you're maintaining or looking at really small gains, then be aware that whatever muscle mass and water weight you're packing on is being off set with fat loss. That's wonderful. I would say, put your scale in time-out and try tracking your success in other ways for a few weeks. As long as you keep on with this and don't give up, the scale will catch up with your healthy habits and make you smile.
