I had a great week on the nutrition front and a good week on the exercise front. The results, a 1 lb. gain. I'll be 53 in a couple days and the weight goes up and down instead of just down. I've never had this problem before. Frustrating, but I know it will move if I keep up with the workouts. I wear a Go Wear Fit so I know I had a deficit everyday.
I bought a new workout a couple months ago and hadn't tried it yet. I felt like I needed to ease into it. Today, I decided I'd give it a go and just do what I could. My arms and legs are like jello. It was really hard but I got through it. The title sounds kind of cheesy, but boy was it tough. Valerie Waters trains some celebs for movies and it's called Action Hero Babe. It has 3 DVDs and you do each one once a week. Today was build, then burn, then sculpt. You do cardio and/ or yoga on the other 3 days with one day of rest. The ball exercises have always been my nemesis. I don't have great balance and am not very strong yet so I wasn't able to complete everything on the third circuit. I'm ok with that. After 2 other circuits of lifting heavy I was worn out.
We got a little snow this morning. Hopefully that's the end of it. My daughter is making dinner for us tonight. She's keeping it healthy for me!
