Strength Training and Cardio

For me strength training is like eating vegetables. Something you have to do but don't really like. Cardio is like eating dessert. Something that makes you feel happy and really good when you are done. Only cardio is a heck of a lot better for you than dessert.

    Thanks! I have been thinking of trying out some fitness classes, but have been too chicken to take that first class. I will have to be brave and just do it. I actually do like vegetables too, just not as much as dessert. I have learned to like them a lot more since I changed my eating habits.

    You made me laugh when I read your blog!! It's funny. I'd rather do cardio too! I like vegetables, but I don't like to do strength training exercises. I do them because they help me strengthen my stomach muscles. I lost 45lbs, but I still have a pooch in my stomach. I want it gone!!

    Trying group fitness classes can actually nail two birds with one stone and they're motivating. Give it a whirl and weights won't be so horrible. emoticon
