Here I am. The beginning of a new year and a new..fitness routine!! Yay. I purchased a WII for my kids...or so I THOUGHT it was for my kids. A friend gave me a WII Fit to go with it and BAM! I'm hooked. Never thought I would EVER buy any type of video game anything....never saw a reason too. You only sit, sit, sit so there was no reason to sit MORE! Well....when I noticed that my kids were gaining a bit of weight I thought that a WII might be a fun way for us home-schoolers to get some PE in each day-particularly when it's cold and rainy out. Well....We are doing great! My kids are loosing weight and I'm not loosing weight much but I am losing INCHES all over!! It's been kind strange and well....unexpected. I'll take inches lost anytime though. A Very weird twist...I've actually GAINED weight since just after the first week but have lost +++INCHES! Please explain that to me! :-)

    Muscle weighs more than fat, so perhaps you are developing muscle. ALWAYS a good thing! Congrats on getting more active, and keep up the good work! When you do all the right things, the weight will follow. But at least you have the progress of inches for now! I'll take it anyday!
