Here's Day Nine -
Water: I didn't hit get my eight cups of water in. I got distracted at work in the afternoon which is when I usually drink four cups. I only got to drink two during that time. Oh well. I ended up with seven cups of water which is better than last week. I'm hoping that today I reach the eight mark.
Exercise: So, I tried C25K yesterday. Day One wasn't the best experience. After my first one-minute run, I was feeling good. However, during my second run, I had a very bad asthma attack. It was the worst attack I've ever had. Luckily, I was close enough to home to get my inhaler. I took a few minutes to settle down. During those few minutes, I debated whether or not I should get out there. Part of me was like "Why? The attack messed up the run. You can start over on Friday." The other part of me said "It's ok. You can do a quick walk to warm up again, and you can start back where you left off. You want to do this." I ended up going with the latter with my inhaler in hand. The remainder of the walk/jog wasn't too bad. It was difficult though. I ended up only doing about 2.4 miles in 30 minutes because I was going slow. Is that ok? I'm thinking I may have to repeat Week One again, but we'll see when I get to Day Three.
Food: Another pretty good day. I did well in regards to calories, protein, cholesterol, fat, etc. I went over on my carbs though. That's ok. I will try better today.
Sleep: I was exhausted yesterday, so I ended up laying down at 9:30pm. Guess what that means?! I got eight and a half hours of sleep! FINALLY! I could do a dance because I am so happy! Honestly, I feel a difference too.
Wednesday's Daily Goals:
1. 30 minutes of cardio.
2. Drink six cups of water.
3. Get eight hours of sleep.
4. Try a new sleeping habit. (Go to bed earlier.)
So, yesterday went pretty well. I'm happy about that!
Tonight is dinner night with Mom. I have a question. She's fixing dinner tonight, but I am not exactly sure what ingredients will be used nor how much. How should I track tonight's dinner? Any suggestions?
