FEBRUARY 1st 2012 My first Spark Challenge was 2 years ago today.

Today was a memorable day, I did the first 28 day challenge that was in the book the Spark, when it was first published.
I had hurried to finish the book so I could find what the 28 day challenge was going to involve for me.
I discovered all it involved was meeting and interacting with many very nice people from all over the place. I loved it, I was hooked.
I had never done anything like it before, I rarely used a computer, and I was and still am a very poor typist. I used to worry about getting on the site to talk to people whose Spark names I could not remember and most of them never gave out their real names. As soon as I remembered the name and their picture or icon, they would and still do change it to something else. Some days I lost a friend’s Blog subscription and I would search my page to find their Spark name, it was a real time consuming way to go about it. Now I am older and smarter and I have all my friends Spark names in a thumb index notebook. If I lose a Blog and I cannot find my friend I go right to Spark search put in the name and I am there. I learn something new on this site every day and I am loving it.
We have another challenge but this being a LEAP YEAR we will have 29 DAYS in FEBRUARY 2012.
I never thought I would still have the original friend still with me. I am still in touch with other Friends who were in the original 28 days but they had to give up the computer time to do other things.
So this has been my First day of the challenge once again. I am not losing any weight but boy I am still getting healthier, stronger, more outgoing and happier thanks to this experience.
Another good thing is I have not gained any weight so that is nothing to be sad about. I am still 50 pounds down from when I was diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic and almost 40 pounds down using Spark, I have been there for the past 15 months I guess that is some kind of maintenance since all i have lost i have never found WooHoo.
I feel great, I am told I look great so I am a happy camper.!
Thanks Spark Friends for your support and motivation.
