My day 38 went well. I have been sticking to my nutrition plan and my exercise plan for 3 weeks now. I am feeling good and strong. So happy that I have not quit. I have not had a blood pressure drop that usually happens when I cut calories. I am eating plenty and I am full for a good while after I eat. I have the water drinking down.
My family is being very supportive and the folks at work are too. I think that they see the determination in my eyes that says, "Don't you dare ask me if I want that donut."
I have been eating greek yogurt for a few days. So today I grabbed a regular fat free yogurt and it tasted so sweet that it set my teeth on edge. I can't imagine what would happen with a piece of pecan pie (my favorite).
My son gave us a gift card for the Darden restaurant group. I was thinking that if I hit my 10% goal,(20 pounds, only 4 pounds away) by February 14th that my husband and I would go out to dinner. I am looking over menus to see what I can eat. I am leaving nothing to chance. I refuse to fail. I will not go back. I will learn how to control myself.
My Motto: It's all in the planning. Leave nothing to chance.
