Thank you everyone for your prayers.

My mum has thyroid cancer but it is apparently one of the easiest cancers to treat.
After a couple more tests we shall return to the specialist on Thursday (9th).
Firstly need to know where it is concentrated and then which course drs will take. Will leave her with a raspier voice and possibly a drier throat than usual.

She is in such positive spirits. I and we could all learn from such determination and acceptance that things will be as things are meant to be.
Dr was surprised with her attitude.

Oh and just let me say what a wonderful public hospital/medical system we have. Have never been able to fault the mater Hospital or its staff. Always patient and kind. A sincere thank you.

Holiday plans are on hold as it looks like surgery could be when we had planned to be away.
She jested with me abouot that because we were so worried about the roads being flooded and ot being able to reach our destination and she sais "This is God's plan for you to be here for me"
