lost 30 pounds but stuck there now for a few weeks

Really glad I managed to lose 30 pounds but have just been maintaining for the past three weeks. Have had a ravenous appetite so been eating more than amount of calories I should eat daily and not been exercising....getting into a slump. Need to get back on track.

    I know just how you feel i am at 28 pounds lost and can't seem to get past it. I have been exerciseing each day and still no results. We will just have to keep pushing.

    Congrats on your weight loss! We all hit plateaus or backslide at times. Don't get discouraged. Try to remember the journey that helped you loss 30 pounds. Remember the discipline and effort on your part to accomplish this great thing which has helped you become a healthier person. Resolve once again to continue to eat healthy and exercise regularly. You will not be happy if you regain the weight that you have lost.     You have received great advice - relish daily in the 30 pound weightloss and list all that has changed. There have been some remarkable changes for you and then add back in the exercise that you did as you were losing and bump them up. Look back over you rmenu or your tracking and pick out your top 7 meals that kept you going - you will be successful.

  When you are maintaining and not losing, it's easy to get discouraged and back track a little bit. But, sometimes that happens. Get back on that pony...I had a three week period when I lost 25 lbs about three yrs ago that I didn't lose anything, I promise if you stick it out, you will start to lose again...don't give up... emoticon

    Just try for 10 minutes today - workouts come back to us easier than we think! When you see how good it feels, it just feels right to get back to it. Good luck breaking through!
