plank position

Sometimes it is hard to measure progress when you see yourself day in and day out. Yes the scale is moving and yes the pants are fitting better, but am I really making progress? Monday, I got my answer. I was lifting weights and doing core exercises including the plank. I got in position and my DH timed me for 1 minute. The next thing I knew he told me my minute was up. HUH? I wasn't shaking with pain, I wasn't struggling to stay in position, I wasn't praying for the time to be up. Now that is progress in my book!
