My girlfriend and I have decided to embark on a healthy living challenge for 2012. We have committed to working out and eating better together. Today was Day One. I admit, it felt strange and exciting being back in the gym and getting on the treadmill and doing squats. However at the end of the hour and a half, I felt strong and happy. I can't wait for tomorrow. That's a good start.
I also weighed in. I've lost a few pounds this past month which was a shock. I am currently at 178.0. I've set a February goal of losing 8 pounds, working out at least 4 days a week and eating in my calorie limit. I'm also going to try to track everything. It's attainable, I just must remain focused.
