Adrenal function has improved from a score 5/20 to 14/20 so that is great news.

Liver function has decreased (which I suspected) so today is day one of the liver cleanse. My menstrual cycle should return within five days of completing the ten day cleanse. The trick afterwards is to stay away from all alcohol, caffeine, over the counter medication, wheat and sugar.

I have lost six pounds = 4 lbs of fat, 2 lbs of muscle. I'm happy for the weight loss, but I definitely have to keep up on the strength training.

My goals for the next six weeks.... replace the 2 lbs of lost muscle and lose another 6 lbs of fat.

Current weight 168 lbs. :D

Did I miss something? Liver function issues? I hope the cleanse helps out. emoticon Congrats on the weight loss! I'm jealous! I've been running lots lately but no such results yet. emoticon I'll have to use you as inspiration.

That is all fantastic news!! The adrenal function score shift is huge! You must be so happy. What you're doing is working and leading you to greater wellness. For a time, my adrenal function was poor and my doc had me taking liquorice root extract. I'm sure it's not for everybody but maybe something to ask your naturopath about, not that you need to, your results are great. The weight loss is also great. Don't feel bad about the two lbs of muscle; it is very, very hard to have weight loss without some muscle loss, too. I do lots of ST and there is all kinds of fun stuff to do i.e. bodyweight exercises, in circuits, using bodyweight + medicine, stability and BOSU balls... Maybe there's a class at the place you workout. What an excellent doctor's visit. I hope you're happy and celebratory.
