Focusing on WHAT I can DO

I got through the January Jump-start challenge and have now joined the 28 day boot-camp. FUN FUN FUN!

The first days video is very challenging for me - I cannot JUMP, stretch, extend, or bounce on that darn bad ankle, soooooo I have to improvise. I am not getting my heart rate up enough... but I will continue to do the videos and then walk on treadmill - because I can and do get my heart rate up enough to get a cardio workout.

I really liked the 2nd days video. It was short and sweet and I was able to do most everything without losing momentum.

Tomorrow is day 3 of the challenge.. onward and forward!

My goals are always front and center: I want to lose at least 40 pounds by July 20th. I am eating healthy, exercising more consistently off the treadmill, [while walking is good for me and my body, I am not losing weight as I should be - I need more challenges for my body], I have cut out more fat and added more veggies and whole grains. I hope to see more weight loss in February. I lost 2 pounds in January.

I keep on keeping on. July is around the corner... emoticon jean

    Way to go! That is my goal this year, focus on what I CAN do, NO EXCUSES. I also finished the January Jump Start challenge and plan to start that new Boot Camp DVD tomorrow for my February challenge. I find having a monthly challenge really helps motivate me.
