Woo Hoo! Lots of change this past week . . .

Many thanks to those of you who pointed out to me that the scale is only ONE measure of success on this journey. My goal is to take measurements weekly. I've been working out everyday. I feel great and my clothes are loosening up. I've walked at least 60 minutes on the treadmill everyday with an incline of 2-4 each session. I even had my heart rate up to 137! This is great -- I was sweating like a pig. It was a wonderful feeling. This week I'll add the resistance machines to my workout. Adding strength training to the cardio should be a good combination. In addition, we'll have a new grandson tomorrow . . . c-section scheduled for 7 am mountain time. What a wonderful gift that will be. Have a great week!
