Today it's official...

I reached my goal weight of 30 pounds lost.

This is significant to me for two reasons.
1. I reached this weight once before with SparkPeople and fell off the wagon. I had to relose 30 pounds.
2. This marks the weight I was after having a baby. That baby is now 26! So, anything I lose from here on is going to result in a body I have only dreamed about... It's going to become reality!

I celebrated by changing my ticker to a new goal of 120 pounds.

My challenge is the strength training. I must find what works for me in this area. I know it's my weak link.

Soooo happy.. Oh yeah, there was some happy dancin' celebrations in my house this morning.

    emoticon Isn't it such a relief? Especially after losing, regaining (and learning from the process) and losing it again - no wonder you are overjoyed. Good for you. I love strength training so I would be happy to encourage you in that area. I have probably mentioned this to you before, but I often encourage women who are just beginning S.T. to sign up for a "weights for women" type class, often offered by the YMCA, in order to learn proper form, connect with potential workout partners, and get in the habit of strength training. It really makes such a difference and you may notice the benefits faster than you do with cardio. Take care!
