Workout streak ended @ 28 days - a bump in the road to 365

Monday, January 30, 2012

well yesterday I dont know what happened. I remember thinking in the morning that I should just go ahead and workout this morning so I dont have to do it tonight but I didnt.
I ended up not really doing much so I cant blame being busy. Then my sister invited me over to her house to watch this documentary about eating an unprocessed plant based diet and the problems with the standard american diet called "forks over knives" that I have seen before but I have been trying to get her to watch forever and I got all excited and stayed out late and it completely slipped my mind.
I got home at 10:30 last night and never once even thought of it.

I didnt even realize I had skipped out on it until about 20 minutes ago. Im kinda peeved at myself now because I was really on a great roll and wanted to keep it up.

The only thing I can do is start again and carry it from there though. I could have pretended that yesterday never happened but I would be lying to everyone including myself and the accomplishment would not be as sweet. If I can exercise every other day this year though I can still say. I have worked out every day this year but one. That will be good enough for me.

So that makes today 30 days minus 1 lol

Life happens so we will just leave it at that. No matter what I am still really proud of myself because before I think my longest streak was like 6 days.

Have a happy healthy monday!

~ Jess

Your back on track and that is what you missed one day. You did watch a great program and I'm sure you learned a lot from it...that's just as important.

You've done great. I like the counting method of 30 - 1. Sounds better than saying day 1 over again, especially with how well you have done.
Glad your sister finally watched that with you!
