The exercise has been going really well. 9 intense workouts last week!! I'm getting a good variety of classes, my own thing and i've started seeing a trainer again. I've got 1 month until the 7km fun run.... I still have the odd moment where my food choices are less than ideal but i haven't had any binges in a long long time. She I say less than ideal I mean this morning i bought a muffin and it was amazing. I might have 2 or 3 treats per week.... but I'm averaging 1200-1400 calories per day and I'm burning more than 1000 calories per day through exercise. So I feel I'm justified.
One thing i really do need to curb though is alcohol. I've cut down to only drinking once a week but even then I'll drink a bottle of wine in 1 night. I enjoy drinking and i drink to get tipsy not to get really drunk. But i know it's affecting my weight loss and pretty soon I need to start treating my body as a real temple and focus on preparing my body for the fun run and the triathlons.
Next weekend 2 old friends from dunedin are coming to visit and we will no doubt have more than a few drinks. But that will be it until after the triathlons in mid march. The weekend after the tri my best friend is coming to visit and we will no doubt have a biiiig boozy night out. Once that tri is over... I don't know what my new goal will be. I need to start seriously thinking about it because before I know it we will be coming into winter time here in new Zealand and it gets very cold and very wet. Hardly motivational weather.
