Today's Fitness
I did 64 minutes of fitness today.

Today's Highlights
Today's highlight was going outside for a short amount of exercise and then the boys followed me out and eventually we started tossing football for awhile.

CURVIEMAMA said 'Walked 2 miles in about 45 minutes! I took the kids to the plaground and walked the track. Noticed that another Mom that looked to be my age sat in the car while her kid played...well until it was time to leave then she walked to the edge of the playground to holler for him. I rocked that track!'

  food is an addiction. and overweight people have a food addiction, we may also transfer that to an exercise addiction. caution here is if you are doing a hard exercise like kickboxing or hiit exercises you do need to take time off in between. the most gains can come from the recovery too.

    I walk my yorkie everyday for a total of 60 or more minutes a day. I still have to start being regular with the strength exercises. That will come. Chapter 2 in "THE SPARK" has been a eye opener and made everything easier for me. Now I have a short term and long term goal that will change when I reach it. I'll read the rest of the book and change my life for the better by becoming a complete, healthy person in the end. Thank you for all you insight and wisdom. Lucinda emoticon emoticon

Today is Day 92 of my Workout Every Day Streak. Looking forward to March 10 which will mark my 100th straight day as long as all goes as planned!

  I am reconnecting with SparkPeople, and rebalancing my brain by exercising! Today I woke up with a positive attitude and did my ten minute strenth bootcamp video and 30 minutes of elliptical work. I'm ready for the day!

    Hi Chris;

May biggest problem is I am never still and would not be in the car but walking around the track. If parents could play with the children I would be there. When I bowl I walk the lane and we have 22 lanes so it is a good walk. I can walk the length of the lane 6 times and get a mile. One day my back was hurting because I have 10 degenerating disc so I walked went and bowled and walked, by the time I was done I had over 10,000 steps as I bowl 3 leagues on that day. I told the owner and after my back hasn't hurt for a week. She said I could walk a hole in the carpet and then she could get new. The other bowlers joke with me about my walking but some a starting their own when I tell the how beneficial it is. I talk about Spark to everyone. Have a great day and thank you for helping us keep a healthy life. God bless you always. Today since I am not feeling well I have only walked and I won't have my 10,000 but I will do what I can. I will have at least 30 minutes in.

    My highlight for Sunday was doing my personal best in a 5K. Still not breaking any sort of records, but I ran for 2 miles straight - and that included a huge hill!

    YAY! I did my 10 mins playing the Wii with the love of my life ... it was a challenge, fun and didnt even feel like a mini workout, but it was good!

    A week ago I set a goal to do 10 min. of cardio fitness. (Daily Minimum). Yesterday I actually did 20. Today I pushed it to 30!!

    DH and I walked to the park and then decided to walk all the way to Safeway to do our dinner shopping for a total of 5.1 miles in 1 1/2 hour not counting shopping time.

    We go to my MILs on Sundays for a big dinner. Instead of sitting around talking, reading magazines and watching TV, I slip out for a run. And lately there has been more running than walking!
